title is bait but also not. all my life my defining trait has been my intelligence, i'm not a savant or anything and i think i'm not THAT intelligent but it's kinda the thing i'm known for.
so i was wondering, what's life like when you don't feel intelligent or aren't told you are so?
>>
>>80063487
What I've noticed is they kind of do things without ever questioning why and get mad when any kind of reasoning is applied to it other than social
>>

makes you contemplate roping/giving up
i think it's in my nature to resist roping/giving up though, but others must have it rough.
the mainstream view of IQ right now is it's 80% heritable based on twin studies. a lot of people attack this, and I don't have the expertise to have a solid opinion about this, but it's not a nice thought when the consensus is you're an idiot.

oh sorry OP, i misread your pots. this post i made^ is about the scenario where people call you stupid, not where people just dont call you smart.
either way, it should shed some light on the subject

107 here
Its rather lame
I can think about things but surface level or in like teenage style wisdom like if I think about AI I cant go past some common wisdom or otherwise some edgy thing a teenager would think
Basically my thoughts even if different and strange are still confined to a high level of simplicity, if I ever try to go beyond that it becomes clear I dont enjoy it and Im trying too hard, my mind is often overcome with disgust when I try to be philosophical in any autistically profound way
Other than that I am very driven by repetitive habits

Like I play 2-3 vidya all my life and dislike learning new ones, in those games I rarely switch characters as well and stick to the same ones
Basically it boils down to not enjoying the act of learning and wanting to keep it simple and mindless
For this reason I also make the same mistakes over and over and probably have a weak will due to it, since its easier to do the same mistake than to stop and think and exert will power. the lack of iq can spill over to things like organizing yourself well or having a healthy life as well, but Im working on that
Learning anything is a pain in the ass and boring, specially things that are highly abstract like math and physics

If I can summarize it basically youre very lazy and mediocre

they probably arent even aware of it.

the online mensa norway one gave me 97 a few years ago iirc, but i got bored/confused and stopped putting in much effort for the latter third of the test desu and still ran out of time
>math was always extremely frustrating to me
>didn't learn to tie my shoes until i was 11
>can't really comprehend academic literature even if i know what individual words mean my eyes just glaze over if it's too complex
>always prefer the easiest/most brainless route to something and don't care to know the complexities of it as long as i can be reasonably sure it works
>can't debate/argue any point at all and just immediately fold or walk away if someone gets aggressive with me
>>
>>80063487
>can't answer his own questions
>thinks he is intelligent
the funny part is that there are a lot of pricks like you here congregated
>>
>>80063487
once you become aware of it, you feel like a part of the normgroid hivemind
this has happened to me recently and I visit /sci/ often and listen to smart people to escape it
I understand nothing but it gives me the illusion of not being the most average npc on the planet
>>
>>80063487
high school dropout here so it's probably <100. really it's irrelevant, I'd rather be genetically blessed in other areas before iq, it's not even top 5

What is the point of having a high IQ when chatgpt is going to make you redundant anyway? If you're were born good at sports you could be a millionaire athlete but most high IQ faggots are doing some worthless engineering or compsci degree and will work at mcdonalds in 10 years.

>What is the point of having a high IQ when chatgpt is going to make you redundant anyway
How exactly is big autocorrect planning on doing that?
>>
>>80063487
It makes life far more difficult than it otherwise needs to be.
>>
>>80064151
Even if chatgpt doesn't improve in its current state it's already taking jobs and "high IQ" fags with masters and PhDs are already unemployed or working dead end jobs. "High IQ" is worthless unless you can capitalise on it with a business idea but you still need a ton of money to start a business in the first place.
>>

>it's already taking jobs
Any job taken by ChatGPT is one that does not rely on facts to be correct, and probably deserved to be taken by a machine.
>"high IQ" fags with masters and PhDs are already unemployed or working dead end jobs.
How is that the fault of AI? Sounds like motivation problems.
>"High IQ" is worthless unless you can capitalise on it with a business idea but you still need a ton of money to start a business in the first place.
So go to the money store. Just have a good idea, put together a business plan, and get venture capital. No, I said a GOOD idea! IDIOT
>>
>>80064124
chatgpt has no intelligence, often times it's wrong, and lacks nuance
it's a useful tool but if you genuinely think chatgpt is smart then that just means you're retarded and have no idea what you're talking about
>>80064175
uhh yeah, confirmed, you're just butt hurt at smart people because someone bragged about their iq to you and you haven't let it go. gg no re, keep crying buddy.
>>
>>80063487
Basically, you lose all motivation to learn. For me learning or trying things beyond the bare bare minimum feels like moving mountains
>>
>>80063819
107 IQ is high enough to be "smart" with the right environment, information, and perseverance. it will just take longer
>>
>>80063921
take adderall/amphetamine and specialize in things that aren't too math-heavy
>>
Being stupid is just a combination of not knowing things, not being able to figure things out, and using heuristics and fallacies instead of observation and logic.

That and a dangerous level of self confidence in their ineptitude.

now you can't stop it out of control psychic process...just like the fire you played with...

I am a god and I can't hold the viper!
>>
feels like you just got spawnkilled and theres nothing you can do about it
and then some faggot is like "ohh it's much harder being high iq you dont know how good you have it" go fucking kill yourself cunt
