I always like to think of myself as humble but what if my humbleness is just a result of not having anything to brag about?

It depends on the reason you're humble. Outside of 4chan I try to be humble because it just makes life easier most of the time.
If you're humble because of insecurity than it's not a positive trait.
Unwarranted kindness/politeness in general is usually just a sign that someone hasn't been pushed or hurt enough in life to truly understand human nature.
