Will anti psychotics make me dumb? I'm scared of losing creativity and brainpower and being easily swayed without thinking critically. I'm scared I won't like my hobbies and interests and I'm scared if I stop the disorder gets worse. Anyone who has had any experience on this?

It's not that I'm delusional people I trust don't consider me delusional just autistic but i have some plans with a few friends and I need my thinking to be at a high capacity at least for a few months so is the loss in brainpower worth less delusions? Im pretty normal people don't know me as a Schmitz I and I've never been diagnosed as a schizophrenic

Haven't been prescribed anything but my friends are tired of me saying I hear "nigger" and other combinations of that kinda stuff when they say they don't. For me I don't logically care but when I'm gonna sleep or some shit I can't sleep it gives me an activation of trauma symptoms that I can't place on a timeline of when it happened to me exactly

They make ya dumb yeah. Try for abilify if you have the luxury of choosing it makes you only slightly dumb. Also long term effects for anti psychs are bad but your family is willing to sacrifice your future so you stop being a spaz in the now
