No wonder you're being replaced by visa workers.

To learn. Now do the proper effort to fix all issues and continue.

Calc professors are smug math heads that think their skill makes them special and/or they hate calculus more than you do and are just getting through the lessons for the paycheck.

If you can't keep up, use Youtube, use tutors, find someone or something that isn't a sweaty smug asslicker who will sit down and explain what the fuck these piles of numbers and letters actually mean besides existing as abstract concepts that you have to solve to prove your worth to the degree gods.

I have no delusion about working at boeing or airbus designing planes or some shit but, let's be real anon, the visa workers are being shuttled here in order to take entry level accounting jobs.

My professor is definitely a smug guy but I've been around so many that it doesn't bother me. The first day nobody was answering his prompts when he was grilling us on not knowing basic formulas of shit. I didn't remember what the area of a circle was. I remembered the area of a triangle but it took an insane force to recall it

>If you can't keep up, use Youtube, use tutors,
What's hilarious is that my friend just explained to me, while we were both at work, what a limit was, on the back of a receipt. I had failed to understand what a limit was while my professor was going through all the calculations earlier this morning's lecture. I'm not even a STEM major. There was just always a nagging suspicion about being stupid that was plaguing me and lol I was right

It was sarcasm. I know that I have to do the right thing.

Something that hit me like a lightning bolt was reading Serge Lang's book "A First Course in Calculus" and he said a lot of the problems come from a lack of rote memorization. I should have been memorizing these things like, with flash cards. Repeating it aloud to myself. Etc. All of those years in middle and highschool spent conjugating Spanish sentences and now I can't do basic math haha. At least now I know what to focus on. I'm gonna Anki-goon to simple precalc concepts while continuing on with this course
