>>80087118Yeah, for the story, tsukihime is not really like a self insert romance story like other galge it's pretty influential for showing its uniqueness, I can read romance from the point of view as shiki fine and the h scenes aren't the entire point of the novel either. I read a lot of visual novels, so I'm used to reading male point of view romance with women, but yeah tsukihime isn't heavily reliant upon it. There's a lot of psychological and horror elements to it, cool concepts like mystic eyes and the dead apostle ancestors lore, all the characters are really greatly written, I love conceptual and atmospheric stuff, the biblical elements especially,Plus, I love the art style, old takeuchi is peak. I like his female character design, it's just different from wanting them to date me lol

>>80087455My favourite girl is kohaku, her route as a whole is the best, her and hisui together, the maids are the best imo. They have a tragic story and their connection to one another as well as to shiki is the most meaningful to me. Kohaku is at first a really unassuming character that you might not expect to be as involved like the other girls like arc or ciel. But there's so much more deeper to it, I mean, there's a reason the maids are the last two routes, essentially it's a combination between the way her character is executed, she's an incredibly tragic character in the end and her desires to slowly get revenge on the tohno family behind the surface makes it a jarring difference to how unassuming she seems at the start but I really like that, and on a less story based level, her design is also my favourite. I like the head bow and maid outfit, it's a good design choice and infamous ah- kohaku-san is gaming.. my favourite male character is SHIKI, the white hair one, so, you know, he's a big part of kohakus backstory too.Sorry I type a lot I try to condense it a bit lol

If I were Shiki I think I'd find it very hard to not just do what Akiha wants me to. Knowing how much she does for him and how much she loves him really gets to me. But Kohaku is certainly the most unique and honestly might be my favourite villain in fiction overall.
