21/M/USA, I'm a biracial manlet and I live with my parents after dropping out and NEETing throughout my teenage years. I have my diploma but I work in retail and I don't have any special talents or connections that would help me land ANY job whatsoever outside of nepotism (I've tried.) Do I go back to school? I've seen what's become of career techies and recent grads alike in my family. Learning a trade only feels like a different form of slavery if I'm being honest. I've heard night security might be appealing even if there isn't any upward mobility (not like I have any now lol) and the military feels like a last resort. I have no idea what to do Maybe civil engineering? What do you do when you have absolutely no passion for anything at all, least of all your own life?
>>80083276Do night security and college. You literally get paid to do your homework. Don't choose a stupid program. Get something useful like accounting there is a shortage of them.
>>80083276If you do go the military route don't go Infantry like I did. Go into one of the trades that can get you a decent job when you come out.
>>80083276you kinda smart op? blue collar trade, and fast track to becoming a master of it.
>>80083765>If you do go the military route don't go Infantry like I did.>people still join infantry when chairforce and Navy exist What's wrong with you people?
>>80083276>What do you do when you have absolutely no passion for anything at all, least of all your own life?Well judging how your post is mostly work work career I believe you actually have at least mild passion of having money to spend. Think about it.
>>80083765>Go into one of the trades that can get you a decent job when you come outWhich are?
Sorry, anon. I am you but 4 years older. I spent those years mostly neeting. Took me a while to realize that a lack of passion, and apathy, are symptoms of depression. People will give you simple-minded and reductionist advice, but they can't really help you since they do not know your abilities, temperament. Education is not as simple as any man taking any course and becoming anything he wants.
