Used to be that women had a much smaller pool of men to choose from, usually who they immediately knew (and who those people knew) plus co-workers/classmates/neighbors, and that was it. If they wanted to find someone outside of this pool, they had to physically seek them out wherever. Smartphones (and shortly after, hookup apps) changed that. Now, not only could women shame "low-quality" men whenever for whatever reason, they also had every single Chad in a 100km radius to choose from, at any time.
