what's interesting is that because it's on the X chromosome, almost 10% of black women have at least one copy of MAO-A 2R while only 5% of black men have it. a single copy in a woman isn't as bad as in a man (you'd need two to be equally bad) but it surely makes them at least a little bit cracked. this explains why it's not so rare to run into black women who are legit insane, while for most black men who are violent it's because they're caught up in gangsterism and beefs and shit while only a few of them actually have the orc gene.

I like to imagine an alternate history where the blacks got their own republic as reparations (replacing what our timeline knows as the state of florida), had their own 1920s eugenics movement just like every other civilized country, and managed to largely purge this gene from themselves.
