How much does it cost to live in Pattaya nowadays? Last I checked a few years ago you could live on $800 a month easy. $200 condo. $100 in bills. $100 in groceries.

Do you have an education degree too? If so, you could be looking at the highest paying teaching jobs in Thailand. Like 100k baht a month which is almost $3k a month which is basically rich over there. I think you do need a TEFL though. But you can get those online fast and cheap. If you've taught in a western country, employers will automatically look at you as more qualified than all the hippie backpacker TEFL teachers that southeast asia has.

But yeah, bachelor's in education plus a western teaching license plus a TEFL = king for life in SEA. Make sure you apply to true international schools though. Those are the ones that pay the most and actually give you benefits and all that jazz. I'll be subjected to the dancing monkey schools that pay 50k baht a month until I get my masters in education and American teaching license.
