Do they still use cigs as currency in prison anymore or have they switched to Zyns? I don't imagine they'd be allowed to have vapes in there because of the electrical fuckery you could do with it and the questionable batteries they might contain.
Send him something LEGAL of value that could be easily traded, but not super expensive because you don't want to risk the other inmates getting jealous and stealing it/shanking him for it. Don't try to smuggle in any illegal shit because you'll get yourself and possibly also him in trouble.
t. I don't know jack shit about modern prison and all my advice comes from pre-2000's movies and TV and JBA: Stone Ocean.
