For those who'd been NEETs on disability for many years now & are well versed in this shit: what are the chances of "failing" a disability benefits eligibility review (and by extension; getting cut off of benefits/NEETBuxx?)

I vaguely recall vague excerpts online claiming that it's typically a little difficult to fail/get cut off from, unless you show -astronomical- improvement in life's facets; but im not sure if this is applicable for this upcoming review (had a 3373 form to complete & send in - they had some pretty stiff deadlines on getting each step done, and now I have to do an upcoming telehealth appointment. To what I recall, prior "reviews" I had every odd or so year weren't this "stiff/rigid" - abstractly speaking.)

One person claimed that it's deemed a "red flag" if I haven't attended/been putting off on mental health treatment for a few years, so that in particular is spiking up my anxiety.

Just for clarification - I am already on benefits/approved for it & have been for about 8 years-ish now.

I'm referring to the "eligibility review" on *keeping* them, not the initial stage on trying to get on it to begin with.

Is the rejection rate super high for *continuation* of benefits as well? Or?

In my country it doesn't work like that so I can't help you but I wish you the best as a fellow disability neet. To give you some hope though: the moment people see you as disabled they'll interpret most of your actions as a sign of disability, even if they're not, so there's a good chance you can stay on disability for the rest of your life once you got the diagnosis. I remember that there was a story of one guy who turned himself into a psych ward by pretending to be mentally ill and then once he was in he didn't even have to pretend anymore because the people working there saw everything he did as a sign of the illness they thought he had. It is still hard though as someone who is not obviously seen as disabled by normies. There's a large number of people who aren't totally disabled but who's lives will always suck without some outside assistance which a lot of the people here are a part of.

He IS mentally ill though dude. Checking yourself into a mental hospital is a totally crazy thing to do.

I think he was a journalist trying to get a look at how people with mental illness are treated. I don't remember the full story though.

Oh yeah was it on a podcast? I think I remember this guy he was diagnosed as a psychopath and had spent the rest of his life in a mental facility in Europe. Maybe I am thinking of someone else. I think it's pretty rare for sane people to end up in MHs unless they have done something extremely terrible beforehand.

OP here again, Bump.

Any answers? And I want to emphasize this clarification - I am already* on benefits & have been for about 8 years now. This disability eligibility review is for *continuation* - not getting on it to begin with.
