Good morning anons,I got these for Christmas, which one should I make?I think if I enjoy it I'll grab the others on the cover.
>>80088712Oh the one at the front is an imperial star destroyer. Also today I learned my phone camera doesn't take a picture of everything in frame which is annoying. It cuts off the edges.
>>80088712>>80088903BUILD THE STAR DESTROYER!!!!!!!! these look so neat :o
This is on the front of the vehicle with no (English) name. I'm not sure if its like a land speeder from phantom menace(when they made a distraction so padme could escape via starship) or during the sarlacc scene. It has a gun mounted to it.>>80088917I hate trip users but ok I'll open it up.
>>80088979spider... i need to get one of these. its so cute
>>80088992I think they used whatever packaging they had floating around and slapped a sticker over it.
>>80089130thats pretty lame :P i want a little desk spider. i'm gonna look into it now
>>80088712Wow, they have a transformers build, EH? That looks pretty cool
I just know op is a flaming Virgin lmao
>>80089176They're on Aliexpress for a couple bucks I think.>>80089181It looks complicated judging by the pic... Lots of little parts.>>80089200Why would that matter? I've had two long terms gfs that I've lived with, but I have been single for a long time and I don't care for hookups.
>>80088712how's the build going, anon??got any update photos for us?
>>80089618Sorry, I didnt want to leave huge fingerprints on it or something so I might have a go once I finish breakfast.
>>80089618The plastic stuff didnt come off nicely and left residue behind so I'm wiping it down.First step done, not sure I put it on the correct side though.
I put in this little thinger.
>>80090221I think next time I'll grab some gloves. Finger prints are annoying.
>>80090350am curious, once you have made some decent progress, how you would rate the assembly difficulty
>>80090416>>80090350I think the bottom is done now. These little rails were the hardest so far. Very bendy and I ended up doing two tabs bent inward and one outward so they stay on.Its not very hard, just bending/flattening(if external) or twisting(if hidden/inside) little tabs. The needle nose pliers are very helpful
>>80090416>>80090502Scratch that.Making these were the hardest thing.Need like a pencil or something.I have to make 4 more smaller ones I think.
>>80090698I ended up using a centre punch to help get the rounded angle but it's rough.
>>80090839it looks pretty nice though.nice work, anon
>>80089200OP is cooler than you.
>>80090839>>80090897The top navigation array I'm guessing.Thanks anon>>80090979Ty anon
>>80091048Top getting done
>>80091201Almost done
>>80091367Finished the star destroyer.
>>80091428Booty viewTy for reading my blog.
>>80088712That's pretty neat.I would have gone nuts for that when I was a kid.I'm tempted to order some. How long is the model?
>>80091428>>80091435it came out very nice. i like the way these kinds of models look
>>80091438Same here anon, but we were poor when I was a kid.About 110mm or 4 5/16 inches I thinkNeedle nose pliers, some thin gloves(to stop marks), some coned objects like a pencil, maybe a pair of tweezers and I think you will have a nice time. It wasn't frustrating or anything, just nice and peaceful with some music playing.Maybe grab one you dont mind not looking great while you learn how to make the twists and folds nice and tight.>>80091467The metal looks nice and suits these types of models more than insect ones. I hope it doesn't tarnish too bad.
