Funny thing about bees is that their stringers are actually fucking brutal. The reason they die when stinging us is because they're barbed and our skin is tough and grips onto the stinger too well. For insect prey or things that aren't big mammals their stingers cut up their victims.

Not even feel it, and move on with my day. I can't tell you how many times I went to itch my shoulder or back then boom, feel a warm elevated spot with stinger lodged inside. I'll scrape them out with a card or something similiar, and keep on going.
