There's something romantic about living in poverty.
>We're not poor, we just don't have much money
>>80091062truly connecting to primitive ways of living, idk wthat's how i envision it LOL
not romantic maybe the word youre looking for is aesthetic
>>80091062>There's something romantic about living in poverty.Nah it's just sad and im grateful i don't have to live like that
>>80091062it has a charm if you actually arent retarded and live within your means and make the most out of each day. but if ur stupid and go in to debt etc or constantly have to stress then that surely sucks. i dont miss being broke but i do miss not wagecucking
>>80091164>i dont miss being broke but i do miss not wagecuckingMost in poverty wagecuck tho
>>80091062Makes the ooga brain happy to use every bit of limited resources >I ate all the buffalo and used its hide for clothes and made broth/jewelry with the bones ooga booga I did goodHaving to say no to excess for future goals does not make ooga booga brain happy, it doesn't know why I shouldn't eat the entire cake today, it doesn't care about getting fat.
>>80091174yes ur right, but i was poor and just worked part time and was super frugal before going back to uni and then getting a big boy job
>>80091062Nigga what? Yeah it's so romantic seeing everyone else being able to afford simple things with ease and go out wherever they like without money being too much of an issue. Sounds so hot
>>80091209but i'm richer than any of them because i have her.
>>80091218I'm a femnon and neither do I even have a boyfriend. I'm friendless, moneyless, and relationshipless. It's hell. But I'm happy for you
the poor are blessed?
>>80091062>There's something romantic about living in poverty.Biggest cope post I've seen in awhile.
>>80091062it's embarrassing and incredibly isolating. i wouldn't wish poverty on my worst enemy
>>80091224oh no, i'm also single and working poor, that's just the romantic attitude of being poor in a relationship
>>80091062>There is no nobility in poverty! I've been a rich man and I've been a poor man and I choose rich every fucking time!God I love being American
>>80091237WutI dont understand wym
>>80091263If you have someone you really love by your side, the material things you lack aren't that important, just getting by and coming up with creative ways to make a little money go further together feels like a lot. Money is only worth what you can buy, and you can't buy a love that doesn't care if times are a little tough with you. Even if you don't have money, you're not poor.
>>80091297That is true. I agree, but I dont have that unfortunately. I have my parents sure, but they have each other. I dont have someone comoletely for me by my side that I can trust 100%. No friends either. Im just hoping I can find that special someone and Ill feel complete im sure. It does feel a little hopeless cause guys my generation seem to care more about materialistic things and promiscuity than monogamy :')
>>80091382My parents are divorced and my sister doesn't speak to my mother anymore, so I have my mother 100% for me, but it's really not the same as having a romantic partner. I hope you find someone who sees you with the same romance that I dream about.
>>80091411Yeah doesnt come close although it is still better than complete isolation., hopefully the same goes for you. Wish you well.
Anyone who thinks this has never actually been poor and has only seen an extremely romanticized depiction of poverty in movies and TV. There's nothing romantic about living in a trailer park filled with meth heads or a ghetto where fent zombies roam the streets at all hours and gunshots can be heard on a daily basis despite the areas status as a supposed "gun free zone".
>>80091062Poor with a strong familial unit? Nothing can ever beat it. It's one of the strongest things you can have. Poor and lonely? One of the worst experiences you can ever have.
