Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete could have been one of the best anime. "From my point of view the magical girls re evil!" But I didn't want to talk about anime in general, I despise anime. I only wanted to actually talk about Akogarete, because I love magical girls. And it had a chance to start a new era of magical girl shows. From Sally the Witch to Sailor Moon to Madoka, and you know what's funny about the Madoka era, is that every anime ripping off Madoka was way more edgy than Madoka. Because remember Madoka was edgy. Now it's considered super tame, but it was thought of as edgy when it came out "uuu so dark and edgy" well now that we have shows like Magical Site, where the characters are crying black tears and screaming Linkin Park lyrics into their pillow it's nothing.

But the point is I worry about Magical Girls and the possibility of a new era to replace the Madoka one. If Akogarete succeeds, a dark force will overtake I assure you even more powerful and horrid. You'd have your magical girl age between 8-20 or something and you'd roll 1d6 plus something I forget. The point is not to remanence about that though. I just want to say I wish there was a magical girl mmorpg, but there never will be so it is vain to even want that. I know there's lots of crappy magical girl pen and paper games I read them all when I was making mine. Maybe I'm also too ambitious. But also the weapon should be randomised and there was a lot but I think the mechanics are fun, how weight and movement work yeaaah.This was before Akogarete came out and I never even considered the idea of a villainess magical girl but how would you incorporate that, though I also had a setting where one character would become that right and would turn against the party. And to think lives would have been changed if only I had been able to post.The new Monogatari season came out, not that anyone cares, Shaft should feel ashamed of themselves for STILL going on with this and ignoring Madoka, I don't even care if Madoka is continued anymore, I don't care when you finally give us masked Sayaka.
