I feel nothing except constant anxiety, I don't care about anything in particular, the dating/sex/relationships/loneliness discourse, whatever, I guess I'm technically affected but I'm over it. I just want the anxiety to stop. I've accepted everything but this constant unpleasant feeling is pretty annoying, sleep is my only escape. Have meds helped you with anxiety, specifically? I don't mean social anxiety, more like a feeling of impending doom no matter what. Are meds the only way? I used to drink 3 cups of picrel daily but have quit (I feel no difference)
First of all, if you struggle with depression or anxiety, you have to completely cut out caffeine/coffee. Yes, it sucks, and I'm a hypocrite since I drink decaf coffee to function each morning, but caffeine/coffee absolutely increases depression and anxiety.Secondly, you might want to try supplements. Lion's Mane didn't work for me, but I wonder if it could work for you. Magnesium will definitely reduce anxiety, two to take at least two magnesium tablets an hour before bed each night, it's a total game changer. 1000mg magnesium 1hr before sleep. You could go up to 2000mg but any more and you'll get the laxative effect.
