So I think my main problem with the Wednesday TV show (apart from the fact it's netflix slop made for zoomers) is the balancing. So they go to a special school for mythical beings and those with magical powers, so they've got werewolves and gorgons and people that go invisible and psychic powers and whatever. Then there's a character who's like a greek siren, and her magic power is that she can mind control people by talking to them. She can make them believe what she wants or she can make them do whatever she wants, literally just by saying it. This is the most overpowered nonsense I've ever seen, she's literally a god. Why doesn't she, or those like her, just take over the world? It's not like she's some bastion of moral responsibility, she's just some dumb kid. It doesn't make a bit of sense.

Anyway what you want to do is get cheap instant noodles, I like the Maggi curry ones because you can often get them on offer and they taste better than supermarket own brands. Then you want to softboil an egg and leave that to the side, you can reuse the water for the noodles. Add some peanut butter and hot sauce along with the flavour sachet to make it delightfully Malaysian inspired, and some spring onions if you've got them. Unfortunately the only way to start figuring it out is to get some sort of job with upwards mobility, most likely in an office. I get on with a few of them and know how to play office politics but I don't want to go out for drinks with them.
