my plan is to clear the northern side of the marsh cave for $$$, go back to elfheim and buy a phoenix down and have 10 pots total (consumables got buffed all over the place in pixel remastered and a lot of things that didn't exist in NES FF1 like echo screens and phoenix downs exist now), then i think with two phoenix downs, that should be enough to get the hell out of there aliveif it's not, whatever, fuck this ironman shit, i might finally play lunari'm also going to consult a map of exactly where the crown is. normally when i play final fantasy i don't consult guides at all, because they're burned into my long term memory, but in this situation i want to fight as few mindflayers as possible, because they just fucking hurt, and might be the end of the run right there

this was a sketchy situation because my two main damage dealers got paralyzed and dia did left the undead alive with like >10 hp left, but :DD and bury white plinked them to death, so no harm no foul
and now we're back to elf city, where :DD learned some 4th rank spells to go kick Astos' Asstos
so here's the situation. bury white really needs a copper amulet and both my mages are pretty close to a level up, so i'm just gonna grind the high seas with :DD's incredibly high AOE attack and get some $$$ together for more consumables and a copper thing
