Can /sci/ give me a quick red pill on induction cookers? I have an induction cooker in my kitchen and I'm worried about its potential harmful effects. I know the magnetic fields can disrupt to currents in your heart and cause fibrillations when you're standing too close. What about neurological disruptions? And can the electromagnetic induction cause electrolysis in the food itself in the pan, transforming harmless salts into toxic products?
