It's characteristically unlike every other planet in the Solar System. If I could choose any planet to spend my last moments on, it would probably be Pluto.
Why? It's a cold ice rock. Titan, Europa and Io are far more interesting. Eventually, Pluto's main use will be a ground station to mount large communications equipment for our probes to Alpha Centarui.
>>16262019I like the red parts that contrast with the ice.
>>16261998All these images exaggerate how bright the sun is from Pluto.
>>16262045Does the sun give light enough to Pluto to even consider it having a day and night?
>>16262045No they just imply a camera (or eyes) adapted for much lower light than Earth
What about the dwarf planet Eris? It's in the solar system and same size as Pluto
>>16262048yes but midday on pluto would be like dawn or dusk on earth
>>16262055too boring for my soience taste
>>16262048Yes as the other anon said daytime on Pluto is like evening on earth, like half an hour before sunset. Alternatively it's like a brightly lit office. Your eyes would adjust but there wouldn't be enough light for plants to grow
>>16262073>>16262059Interesting. Thanks, anons.
