Suppose the following:

> a = n/4
> r = (n/4 (+4 if n is odd, +8 if n/2 is odd))/4
> s = r/4
> t = (r/4 (+4 if r is odd, +8 if r/2 is odd))/4
> etc

What operation is this?

Is this floor division? You can't divide an odd number by an even number and get an integer.

This produces remainders that are prime and about divison of 3.

>floor division
Sorry, my brain wasn't on. Some things happened the last couple days. Yes, floor division.
