Can NASA be saved or should we just privatize space exploration completely?

It’s to larp as a counterforce to purge the bureaucracy. Presidents don’t have much power and the bureaucracy is heavily entrenched, something Trump voters have to learn once again.

All to get around the tyranny of the rocket equation: mass hurts! That is why I still doubt the SpaceX lander, way too massive, could have been much smaller if divided into a lander and an ascender stage.
