I'm looking for some advice regarding a back injury I sustained in a rear-end auto accident about 6 months ago. So far I’ve been
A) visiting a chiropractor for several weeks, then
B) had an MRI, and received back injections. However, I expressed to one of the doctors at the injection facility that the first injection made me feel worse than before, which has me worried about how this might be perceived in my case. I ultimately opted to
C) start physical therapy instead of my lawyer's preference for another injection.

In terms of damages, I received about $2,600 for the car, and I stand to get around $8,000 or more from the injury, after lawyer fees from the other person's insurance. I'm unsure if this financial aspect will influence my eligibility for disability benefits.

My last pain evaluation I said my pain level was at a 6/10, down from a 7 a few weeks prior and an 8 a few months earlier and I am concerned that this might disqualify me in the eyes of a judge during the application process. What should Ido? Tell them I'm feeling more pain all of a sudden. Would that be suspicious?

Help me think clearly about this guys.

I dont know. Back injuries are a bitch that can leave problems for life. I would like to say be honest.
There are devices out there that zap the back to numb the pain. Consider that if the pain is too much. I have no clue but they might consider things differently if the pain is constant, aggravated by minimal labor, or depriving you of sleep.
