>>16548584Because Th reactors needs a completely new kind of reactor design inherently more complex and untested than Uranium.It's a matter of $, if you have some tens of billion collecting dust then just invest in that...cost develop new reactors + new fuel processing chain + thorium fuel >>> cost reactor + uranium
