I can't stand shit like this.
People like to rant about the "dry" classical def-theorem-proof style of writing mathematics without intuition but their idea of lively mathematics is including stupid embarrassing shit like this in books.
I personally would be to embarrassed to let anyone read this, let alone publish it for everyone to see.
These papers/books are never good too.

It's also the same 4-5 jokes over and over again. Most of it is self deprecating about how this stuff is actually useless and irrelevant to everyone. Have some pride in your work! Or if you don't have pride in it, go do something else. Shitting on a subject you do doesn't actually make you seem smarter and better than the other people in the subject who take it more seriously. It just makes you a clown.
Jokes in papers should never go beyond stating an objective fact about the subject or the thing you're talking about that might be interpreted in a funny way.

Advocates for classical style had it right. A scientific paper/monograph is not a place to vent your personal grievances, make jokes, rant about politics or culture. It's supposed to be dignified, you stick to the facts and to what you know.
>“In classic style, the writer does not try to persuade, impress, or entertain the reader but rather inform the reader. The writer does not assume that the reader is ignorant, indifferent, or hostile but rather intelligent, interested, and friendly.”

that style is good for synthesizing à la bourbaki, but it's really shit for anything else.

it's the typical trait of the atheist to try to be funny on the meta level to prove to himself he is self conscious, even thought according to atheists, there is not truth and no objectivity and no morality anyway and it's all relative so not much matters. Also it's a very feminine trait.

also a jewish trait, think of their constant meta level joke and mind games
>>
Corny jokes are always less insufferable than people who get mad at corny jokes.

>also a jewish trait, think of their constant meta level joke and mind games
That's not it. Jews are much more serious than that.
>>16565245
That's not it. I'm an atheist and don't joke around like that. But agree with the feminist trait commnet.

Truth.

Yeah go tell her on twitter

Why is everything "atheist" to you? Try getting off the internet and observing real life. These are cultural trends, however ugly, that can be found all over society. Awkward guys act like this and make these cringe jokes. You probably have cousins like this.

the mistake was thinking it was dry
they can't tell you how to think but the can give you the information
that's just how it works

The "jokes" seeping into this demonstrate a lack of maturity sweeping across the anglosphere. There are no adults in the room anymore.

They are not made for you, they are made for maths students and maths lovers. This kind of joke is always fun for a science student.

A typical trait of the christcuck is to see their daughters fuck niggers and not atheists because the nigger is a good chruch attending christian.
>>
It is honestly fine.
>>16565758
Ok, this is epic

Extremely inappropriate and tasteless joke.

At first I thought it was a joke.
Knowing what I know now about the impact of physics on the economy I wouldn't be surprised if they were murdered.
