A lot of these are retired pros and semi pros and elite hobbiest. To beat Serena... you probably need to a pro or a not long retired pro or top tier semi-pro who is actually attempt to go pro. She'd be even an elite hobbiest.The thing about Tennis which makes it interesting is the mix of skill and physicality. In something like Pool a girl can realistically be the best in the world. In something like running which is pure physicality they'll never stand a chance. But Tennis has a fun skill/physical ratio... but many people who don't play over value the skill for the physical side of it sometimes.
