We would randomize a lot but for some reason I would get schalke a disproportionate amount of times, and I'd always beat his ass with Hunterlaar and company so I naturally started playing them. After awhile I was curious what the actually schalke team was like so I started watching them and after that they had my heart. They usually would collapse in the most puzzling ways but sometimes they would pull incredible wins completely out of their ass too, I never knew what to expect from those dudes and I loved it. That season also happened to co-incide with their CL semi final run so that was fun (and set my expectations for the club WAY too high). Also the blue collar vibe resonates with me, as I'm from a rural area.
