>FIFA brings dynamic pricing to the World Cup because they know Amerigolems will pay (like they pay thousands to see the Super Bowl and Beyonce)Booooo
>>150718739Can't wait for the 'D-fence' chants
we don't care about soccer
Hoping to pick up dirt cheap tickets to some literally where countries.
>>150718777
Sign up for the lottery you can literally sell them in the fifa store this time. Easy money if you win its inside how much jewery is going in this tourney
>>150718827tourists
>>150718827$20,000, how the fuck....
two tickets for the final
>>150718834>Sign up for the lottery you can literally sell them in the fifa store this timeyou think FIFA is gonna let you make up ticket prices as you go along? Only they can do that. If you get a resell option (via FIFA) it'll be for face value minus (yet another) pile of bullshit fees.
Not shocking at all. Our federation already charges bullshit prices just for friendlies, copa america tix we’re expensive as shit, this was obviously going to be even worseFuck USSF
>le people's game
>>150718739Americans are rich and generous, they make big money and spend big money. Look at NFL annual revenue.
>>150718834>he thinks FIFA will share the difference with him
>>150720107so thats 1x Group OR 1 of R32 games, or both?>Starting at
I'm going to predict what happens>Prices are released after raffle as people go to buy tickets>Scalpers and the lucky few buy Category 4>Most people fucking hate the prices and refuse to buy tickets>FIFA panics because the prices made the lottery practically worthless and now no one is entering second raffle>Scalpers panic because they wasted their money>Prices become more reasonable before Final Draw>This shit cycle repeats after the Draw. Now the justification just being that it's about teams that will make resellers the most $ (E.x. France vs Japan game)
>>150720107>hospitality ticketsthese are the actual prices btw
>>150718739The US is FIFA‘s wet dream. All these paypiggies that have been born and raised to consume … and they are an open market with lots of growth potentialA match made in heaven
>>150718739Brazil tier discourse
>>150720310This is good fucking news for me because I just wanted to see one group stage game in person anywhere
>>150718739Just put on an Ethiopian VPN before buying it like everyone else
>>150720310This, prices were not bad for the Eurocup either, but you had to sign up for the lottery (which I dont mind since its better then NEET fags sitting on their PCat 10AM hogging the tickets)FIFA makes its money with advertising and merch, the tickets are just a drop of their income. For that they ideally need lots of locals and the traveling fans, not just some rich fags goign for the novelty
>>150718739>paki tweetGo back dirty paki
>>150718739it only pisses me off because all i hear about in the news is how the economy is shit and everyone is poor but everywhere i go is crowded as fuck and the tickets prices only go up. somebody is full of shit
>>150721695
>>150721695America has millions of rich people so even if the poverty rate is relatively high , you will still have demand for expensive products
>>150721747Kek this. Just retards buying things they can't afford with someone else's money
>>150720310That's a fairly small amount of money for average sports fan I'd say?
>>150718842>>150718827fake and gay, world cup lottery draw entry just opened today, tickets won't be available to purchase until October 10th with the announcement of the draw results on September 29th
>>150721747I find it dubious that people where losing their jobs in the early 2020s and still were paying down their credit cards at that time, but then suddenly decided to start doing it in 2021 when things were actually surging again.
watching live sport is the biggest meme ever invented.watch your shitty local team play football or baseball; THEN it makes sense. once you get to the highest level, it just isn't worth the experience. you're surrounded by tourists with phones, you're probably sitting in a really shitty seat, TV will give you a much better experience.
>>150722293except anytime more than 50k people are in one place theres a 100% chance of easy sluts being everywhere you look.
>>150718739Zohan is such a badass name.
>>150722752Zohran
>>150721935There two factors to creditcard debt and you are ignoring outgoing spending. Total debt dropped 2020 as simply less spending was going on. People are still making repayments in current year, but spending has gone up, balances are higher and repayments are making less of a dent in the total.82% of burgers have at least one credit card, and the average has about four. And an *average* credit card debt of $21,000 per household @ 28% interest is not sustainable.
Place your bets on which dignitary/players are getting assassinated at the world cup
>>150723902>is not sustainableYeah, only two more weeks until the real-estate bubble in the western world bursts and boomers won't be able to enrich themselves lol
>>150724254Look at that chart >>150721747 again - Line Go Up, it's the definition of unsustainable. On the figures >>150723902 given, *average* min. payment is now $700 per month. And given the averages include a fuckload of responsible users with one card who repay in full every month, I'd hate to see the state of some of the rest debtors accounts. And these are the same idiots with also with $1200 car payments and fuck knows what messes for mortgages. tldr, rising consoomer debt is an actual ticking time bomb bubble, but nobody wants to know.
>>150718739don't worry they can afford it
surprised there haven't been calls for moving the WC somewhere else given how fast the USA is sliding into developing country status
>>150718827We don't care about soccer. But its the world cup. I don't think their is a way to explain this to you without you being here. Look, America is the country for the rich, and it is populated by poor people who think they will someday be rich too. That is the reason for this pricing. Americans care more about every other sport than soccer.
reminds me of the jews who bought talking WWE talking to their shareholders about how Vince McMahon was leaving too much money on the table by pricing the shows low enough that families could attend and how they've maximized profits by jacking those prices up
reminder "dynamic pricing" never means "prices go down"
>>150735869>America is for the rich and its populated by poor people who think they will someday be richThats an honestly great and deeply true take. America is fucking fun as a top 5%er and somehow the bottom 95% defend them.
>>150736567as a 5%er, I agree
Nothing new. Just better technology and more transparency. Before, FIFA made money on the side by selling via resellers that marked up the face value using "bundle" sales or sold privately to contacts off-market. The families of FIFA members have been make their fortunes with ticket scams for decades. Very few tickets were sold for face value on the open market, except for initial championship games between shit hole countries. Also, ticket touts have been providing dynamic pricing, in full, unofficial partnership with FIFA, since at least the 70s. Now technology replaces them but the margins for FIFA stay the same and the accounting is as opaque as it ever was.
>>150718739Chances of Mamdani getting wacked in retaliation for Kirk? I'd say about 45%
>>150736567>>150736592I don't know the source but my favourite way I have heard this put was "in America, there are no poor people, only temporarily embarrassed millionaires"
>>150737489It's generally attributed to Steinbeck, but of course there is also some (not especially interesting) argument over that.
>>150720310Entered the VISA lottery because why not? Figure buy two seats. Assume there will be a resale lockdown, so can at least take someone or sell the extra one as a "go with me" experience.
>>150718834>>150720021actually, gonna correct myself here.FIFA are indeed basically running their own touting op now. They also sold $20m worth of “Right To Buy” tokens, that let you bypass the lottery and guaranteed you a ticket. Which you then still have to pay full price for, it's just another layer of scam fee fees on top. Bring back that principled Mr Blatter.
>>150738591Well, if resales are allowed, why not buy tickets for the late matches? That's free money just sitting there.
>>150738616I see a flaw in your theory here Chief. In principle tho, you are right enough, assuming you did get lucky in the lottery first. The 'Right to Buy' token, of which FIFA sold 70-80,000, probably would = free money, for those smart and organised enough to have taken advantage of it at the time.
I’m having antisemitic thoughts after learning about this
>>150718739>BoooooCool it with the anti-semitic remarks
>buying tickets to watch a 0-0
>>150718739>hurts insane long term profits by not tapping into a new market (the most profitable market in the world)>all for a quick buck from overpriced ticketsbased FIFA. eyes off of our sport, burgers.
>>150718827>they even named the stadium after the little dictatorbros, they're totally gonna rig wc 2026 too, won't they?
>>150738755>Stavros doesn't know what a mezzanine ishttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mezzanineand that's not the name of the stadium eitherare you ok?
>>150737393Needs to be whacked for being a terrorist paki piece of shit
>>150738661There will be hundred of thousands of tickets available across all matches. Early picks on the final games are best of course. Will see what happens.
>>150718739One potential strategy for event ticketing is to allocate a portion of seats and price points based on the socioeconomic demographics of the local area. For instance, if a certain percentage of the population falls within a specific income bracket, an equivalent percentage of tickets could be made available at a price point that is accessible to them. This approach would not be discriminatory, but rather a form of dynamic pricing that promotes accessibility. It ensures that a broader range of the community can attend events by setting some ticket prices lower, while simultaneously adjusting prices upward for those who can comfortably afford to pay a premium.
>>150740023or just ban reselling tickets. greedy kikes already digitized everything so theres no reason to allow third party sales and transfers.
>>150738743the thing is theyll just make the sponsors buy all the tickets who will then give them away and casual observers will think its legitimately popular. coca cola and mcdonalds have millions of employees to reward with tickets if needed,
>>150738797sorry, your post doesn't fit my rhetoric so you are wrong and probably alfonso
Americans don't even bother going to their national team games, why do you all think this is them buying tickets? It's foreigners, always was and always will be.
>>150740467Not sure who's buying all the USA!USA! tickets for World Cup games then. They are biggest sellers now - obv. as biggest host - but they are also traditionally big tournament sellers.
>>150718739>kills soccer without even watching itSo fucking based
>>150741635Mostly scalpers I'd assume.
>>150740467I’d go if they played in Northern California more then once every half decade and weren’t $150+ for the highest seats away from the field
