Are we witnessing the weakest era of football?
They are good players and the teams of modern football are better than ever (from 2009 Barcelona until now) it's just that they have 0 charisma
>>150949823Yes, Poop ruined everything
>>150949823Pedri and Lamine are up to standards. Mbappeand Haaland are not disgusting to watch. It's just the last 30 years has been crazy and warped expectations
>>1509498231990 and 1991 are strong contenders too. Class players, but in our day and âge they would never win a ballon d'or
>>150949823The top 3 should have been Kane, Pedri, and Salah
>>150950067I wont lie I dont know a whole lot about this era. But outside of Rijkaard and Matthaus I dont know how these guys are
>>150949823Vitoria literally looks like the sailor that would've bought them 400 years ago
vitinha deserved it. shame football has an attacker bias.
>>150950216>An inferior Pedri who shat his pants when he played against PedriWhy would he?
>>150950454>An inferior Pedri who shat his pants when he played against Pedri???Yamal actually shat his pants against Nuno Mendes and got 2nd place somehow
>>150950505What does that have to do with Pedri and his Portuguese son?
>>150950178
>>150950588Pedri didn't do shit in the CLSaying he was better than Vitinha last season has no basis in reality
>>150950649>Pedri lost a match therefore didn't do shit the entire seasonWhy are you this retarded? We are talking about the most influential player in a Barcelona team that was a top team last season
Probably yeah. The fact that so many of the best players are from Scandinavia right now, and that traditionally strong countries like Brazil, Germany, and Italy are unusually weak, tells you everything about the current state of football. The truth is that younger people these days exercise a lot less. And building a career is a safer choice for many than risking it on a competitive football career. Also interests have shifted towards video games and social media.
>>150950702Vitinha won the Champion's League and the Nation's League and was essential in both competitions
>>150949823Name a sport that isn't a bunch of softboys that are passing experts? On this side we got the NBA and NFL those guys are looking punier and punier. We used to have stars like Shaq and Shaun Kemp and now I saw this Amazon ad, fucking Blake Fucking Griffin was wider than any of the active NBA superstars in the ad and he's the ultimate example of "Midwestern guy who moved to LA and became LA" has 2 bad knees and a bad ACL but still looks more athletic than Luka or Wemby.
