Fans of other clubs hate Hoffenheim as a club and Hopp for creating them as they are today, and they hate that Hopp is often applauded as a philantrophist. It's very simple, Hopp is friends with Uli Hoeneß. They're neighbours or golfing buddies etc. So Uli ordered the team to stand down for his buddy.
