Daily reminder that the 666 rule is against the spirit of the game and satanic. Initially the size of the football field was intended to be the constraint that prevented teams from losing their shape, since constantly moving from zone to zone would gas your players and the interchange bench was intended for INJURIES ONLY. At some point the rule was changed to allow unlimited bench rotations and eventually teams learned how to abuse it and this made flooding viable, completely fucking the game. They then had to add extra sub players to deal with injuries (which was the entire reason the bench existed in the first place). All these consulted extra rules are unnecessary if you remove the bench and only allow 4 injury substitutions like god originally intended
