This dude singlehandedly carried Barcelona more than Yamal. Dembele had a decent season but he wasn't as influential for his club as Raphinha.

Carried Barcelona to what?
>>
>>151004946
Copa del Gay. He deserves Journalists' Appreciation Award for this magnificent achievment.
>>
>>151004929
Why did you chose poland for your vpn, sudaca?
>>
>>151004946
To everything till the unlucky CL semi final. Even there he had a goal + assist. Barcelona won everything else except the CL, and that's mainly thanks to Raphinha.
>>
>>151004929
Imagine rating this tugao fraud lmao!
>>
Fun fact: NO ONE put Raphinha first in their BO vote lmao
>>
yeah but he was just some nobody who played for Rennes and Leeds before so he had no hype machine behind him
>>
>>151004929
if you're going to argue that the ballon d'or should be based on who was the most influential player for their club (which it should be) then that's clearly salah
but anyway ballon dor is a third world popularity contest, who cares
>>

>Salah is the most influential
>EVERYONE FORGETS KVARADONA! THE DOUBLE LEAGUE WINNER!
Look, i think Salah is the human version of Messi, easily owning the last 10 years overall, and he should have at least 2 BdO by now...

But not this year. This year its Kvara no contest. If you use eye test (Vini fans), its Kvara, Yamal and Salah - debatable i admit. But if you use wins (the reason Rodri won), then Kvara had the best season in history. He won two leagues! Won cup, UCL. What more can you asl for?

If you then find the middle between these two standards and use reason - it can only be Kvara. When he left Napoli, they almost lost the league despite having 10pts head start from him. When he arrived at PSG, they were in the gutter of UCL and doing nothing different elsewhere, yet they immediately turned into the best team ever (besides maybe MSN Barca). Whether its eye test, trophies or logic, Kvara was the best, cleanly.
>>
>>151015461
Kvara was nothing special in the first half of the season with Napoli and Salah ghosted the second half
>>
>>151015461
nations league is more important than serie a, vitinha and nuno mendes got a better season.
>>
>>151015556
Then why did Napoli drop a 10pt lead once he left? I actually watched so i can tell youre talking nonsense. He wasnt peak Vini tier but he was the difference maker.

>>151015566
But what did they do during those cup wins? Were they the main men? Utter nonsense from you lot.

No one is like Messi back then. Its an award for who was better than others, even if the standard was lower.
>>
Dembele deserved it, amazing CL run. Vitinha deserved 2nd place, then Kvaradonna. After that come Lamine and then comes Raphina.

I swear it's absolutely terrifying how the average anon in here is retarded as hell and has ZERO ball knowledge.

We're talking about a guy who was notorious for being retardedl, who never took the game seriously, was a pacey & dribbling nbugu on his way to become a black Adel Taarabt at best, was injury prone like no other and only wanted one thing in life: to play FM at home instead of actually performing on the pitch.

Then this very same guy got inspired enough by LE to completely change his game, gain 100 football IQ in 6 months, become a deadly playmaker who now scores goals at will after being memed for eternity for being the guy who can't score, start defending and pressing like no one - always putting the team first unlike Mbappé before him, tripled his regular stats, become the leader and the teams co-captain, nurture the young players and carry the most cursed French team to the very thing people would bet their life savings they would never achieve, ever.

The best thing is how it didn't happened magically at the start of the season. He was trash and his usual self, he even got suspended in the most Dembele fashion for arriving late before a UCL game. But it clicked when it was the most needed, when PSG were on the verge of elimination from the league stage. It wasn't Vitinha's doing, or Kvara's, Hakimi's or Nuno's. You literally have to be a complete and utter retard to put anyone of those guys above Dembele, as they were just great cogs in a perfectly oiled machine, but in no way they were at any point the key player like he was.

This is probably one of the most deserved BO, BY FAR. It's like if a guy like Delle Ali suddenly became goated out of nowhere and carried England to a WC win. That whole transformation arc is ten times more impressive than the usual story of a random good player having a good season.
>>

he lost the CWC, his CL doesn't count
>>
>>151017823
bullshit, I hate benzemerde but without mentionning refball the most deserved ballon d'or is the benzemerde one. dembélé's contribution is overrated by a large margin, I'd say his only good contribution was that "preassist" heel pass to vitinha in the cl final and his lucky goal against arsenal, sure he helped the team move the ball around well but without barcola, we don't go past city, without doué, kvara, pacho and donnarumma we don't go past fucking aston villa, without donnarumma and hakimi we don't go past arsenal. I mean it says a lot when the fucking journalists say dembélé pressing was impressing, which is bullshit, dembélé was lucky that luis enrique hates strikers, he put dembélé as a 9 because he's the player that makes the least differences and that defends the worst amongst the forwars, if luis enrique makes you play as a 9 it means he doesn't respects you.

now we'll see if dembélé keeps being LUCKY in front of the goal, we'll see if he gets injured again, I mean he only played 55 minutes per games, luis enrique was protecting him a lot. I don't rate démbélé, it was a miracle nothing more.
