Don't know a lot about them, but from what I have heard, they seem to be all about "eventification" and social media with next to no actual performance element, which is indeed quite anti-sport
Baseball as a whole seems to be quite special in this regard, though. And there have always been "special events" from time to time. But the Savannah Bananas should be past the threshold
