That's their main issue. Instead of having a monopoly on Bundesliga players they can therefore buy for cheap while weakening direct rivals, Bayern now has to contend with numerous clubs who are much more eager to spend big money. The Bundesliga clubs in question profit in two regards: they get more money on average, and they don't lose players to a club from the same league. Bayern on the other hand has a weaker grip on their core market and sees other clubs either use players they wanted for themselves or get plenty of cash, which can be used to strengthen the clubs. Not like Bayern has to fear Stuttgart or anyone else toppling them like that, the gap in sponsorship money and so on is way too large. But it still is a blow to their general supremacy, their financial outlook, and their self-image
It's plenty of PL clubs who are quite daring, albeit not entirely on the scale of the really big ones. Brighton paying 30 million or something for Gruda for example. Everyone knows it's more than one club. Newcastle are getting singled out here because Woltemade is a player with much less established prestige than Wirtz, so his entire story seems crazier
