glad to see a promising young generation get fucked in the next years by our terrible fut federation, always exciting
>>
>>151250219
anon it was over a decade ago, our problem is too deep and it won't be solved for more than a decade

our football federation owes TNT a shitton of money. In order to pay them, clubs are getting less money from tv rights. the only club with money right now is universidad católica

one argie, fernando felicevich, BOSS and vidal's agent, is the agent of hundreds of our players and kills many of their careers by sending them to shit clubs or cockblocking them from others, people also speculate that he controlls who goes to the NT

it doesn't help that our country is poorer each day, thanks to commies
>>
>>151252288
>people also speculate that he controlls who goes to the NT
not much different from what happened here since ever. imo only Argentina is doing fine around here, and it's very like to stay that way for some long period.
>it doesn't help that our country is poorer each day
damn i missed peak Chile
>>
Is this payback for the 7 a 0?

imo this guy ruined the Chilean NT.

arent the mexicans your nemesis? they have eliminated your country for the last 2 wc. i guess they still seethe about that 7-0? i dont even remember
>>
>>151252288
>>151252388
that's not all, there are deeper problems like betting sites, who where sponsoring our league and many clubs for years and were even investigated for match fixing. the goverment had to intervene and make them illegal two years ago, but they still sponsor clubs like la u or colo colo so I don't know what is going on with that. btw felicevich was found to be connected to betting sites, managing the contracts between them and many clubs.

and there's also another story about our refs and some complot against the ref director three years ago, but I don't know much about it and I'm tired.
>>151252823
>arent the mexicans your nemesis?
no, they don't care about us and we don't care about them afaik
>>
>>151252632
argies play against niGer tomorrow I think, whoever wins plays against mexico
>>
>>151252632
You most likely are gonna face us in the quarterfinals, you just need to get past Nigeria first.
>>
>>151253320
>there are deeper problems like betting sites, who where sponsoring our league and many clubs for years and were even investigated for match fixing
literally every single clube from Brasileirão is sponsored by betting websites, and some of them, like Flamengo and Santos, had players involved in result manipulation (Bruno Henrique already got sentenced but still playing Libertadores lmao).
>the goverment had to intervene and make them illegal two years ago
ours still talking about it, probably won't do it since the betting websites will probably pay them to. If they do, our teams will all go bankrupt. We're basically using betting money to buy players from all South America while ours got sold immediately to Europe (and end up turning into massive shitters, like Endrick)
It's over for all of us.
>>
Nothing personal argies, I just want the Mexican NT to get BLACKED by nigeRia
>>
It's just a mickey Mouse cup but I always enjoy watching uppity south American rats form the ghetto and their their thirdie thug haircuts get fucked by ugly brown bastards and the random actual white Mexican now and then.

We have 2 argie strikers in the u-20 (Jimenez and Levy), as well as Gimenez, Berterame and Funes Mori.

That was Brazil that eliminated Chile.

yellow cards
>>
generación DOMADA, amirite
>>
>>151255611
But..but...the head to head was 2-1..
>>
>>151255611
And yellow cards are also 5-5 if I counted correctly.
>>
>>151254591
they were matched in everything, and Chile became second because of fair play points (yellow/red cards).
>>
>>151256062
ties are solved considering all tied teams at once, so if a team is not the sole winner on the corresponding item, then the next item is evaluated
in this case, egypt won against chile but lost against nz, and nz lost against chile, so the h2h criteria is skipped
>>151256071
I'm pretty sure they had more, but either way the fair play item considers a point system where you lose different amounts of points depending if you get one yellow, double yellow, or direct red card, and it also considers the team's bench getting carded
>>
>>151249631
>good enough to get excited about it

nice jinx fag, your country is fucked
>>
>>151256129
>so the h2h criteria is skipped
sounds like a blatant scheme to me. they would have chosen w/e bs option to get the host nation through.
>>
>>151255466
Mexican youngsters always disappoint. all our best players suddenly rose at age 21-23.
>>
>>151256071
Egypt had 36 faults in the totality of their group stage. Chile had 33.
>>
>>151258925
the tie-breaker rules are decided in advance, for example, for the CUM worldcup 2026:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_FIFA_World_Cup#Group_stage

>so the h2h criteria is skipped
it's not skipped, it's just applied once for all tied teams and not iteratively (again and again after removing some teams) like in the world cup linked above.
Which is better? Debatable.
>>
>>151256129
I personally think it's insane considering "number of fouls" ahead of the H2H (with NZ discarded due to a worse GD), but what do I know. Thanks for explaining though!
>>
>>151261171
The point to be made is that NZ wasn't tied with the other two, though, on GD alone. So the only H2H thst should have counted is Chile-Egypt.
>>
>>151249520
Only us mexicans care about this shit because it's the only tournament we can actually perform.
>>
>we won 4-0 against Nigeria

>>
I think this u20 team can beat Argentina.

C'mon Mexico... one job

>>151252288
>Poor FA management
>Flaites being the main audience of footy shoving the working man and families away from going to the stadiums
>Agente Felicevic drying up the well
>Due indulgency of success from NT's 2010-2017 FA neglected seeder and younger divisions
>No good national coaches aside Salah (Arturo) and Sulantay
>Poor string of decisions like not doing shit for the long term of the NT's health ignoring the younglings, allowing cultural stepback run the front end (literally; niggers destroy the stadiums) and in the rare happening of at least 1 (UNO) interesting prospect, a number that now sounds huge, that one glorified suit called agent is going to kill the little to none potential they had sending them to dead ends left the FA is absolute red numbers were a local manager is expensive
>But they certainly can keep at hiring total shitters to coach the NT
I really wanted the collapse to happen but still feel bad for the footyfags... the minority of them since most are flaites and they can't even reach 10k on the 1st division games lol. It's totally over. For real this time.

That said... Japan is playing amazingly today, total shame they aren't winning 3-0 before halftime.

>and there's also another story about our refs and some complot against the ref director three years ago, but I don't know much about it and I'm tired.
I recall the whole thing

>Castrilli sells himself in Argentina as a judge that solves refs poor calling some years ago
>ANFP takes the bites and hires him as lead of refs
>Castrilli actually gets some shit done = everyone a player dives they're completely ignore and football flows
>Some gaylords doesn't like this
>Then some shitter of a ref, after rumors around Castrilli's leadership, all fueled by the "media" if you call that mediocre amount of journos media at all published an audio of him talking about his encouter with Castrilli where Castrilli said to him "You're doing good for working in our cause"
>Castrilli proceeds to resign after all the annoyance and poor releationships with the ANFP
>All because one ref leaked and audio where he was sound Corleonesque
>Ref association shake up later puts the guy that Castrilli and other from the ref world pointed as the best ref in the country as the new leader; Tobar. Which is extremely hilarious because
>Nobody bats an eye after the whole fiasco
>Some time later Castrilli sued for damages
And I recall Castrilli won the lawsuit. BTW the ref in question is called Gilabert; check his record, nothing but bad calls. I remember a specific case around the time where the faggot, with VAR, ruled out a clear penalty over Gabi Costa (Colo Colo at the time) back when they were fighting with relegation. That's the guy the media used to make Castrilli look bad just because he was brought to not make local footy a diving slurpfest.

>>151269366
Most of the European teams dont have their best players at hand because they dont consider this a very important event, they value the U21 EURO more so the clubs dont let them go.
Some South American teams are lacking some of their core players because, again, the clubs dont budge, or they dont care, and the level of U20 coaches is below most so they arent nearly as tactically efficient or as well versed with managing.
>>
>>151275573
rojadirecta you stupid idiot
>>
>>151275631
I know this already but even so, plenty of European teams have good enough B or C level prospects to do okay at the u20 WC.

Why is a team of MLS academy players dominating this tournament???

argentina, spain, colombia, morocco, brazil and mexico were contenders to win the wc before anyone in usa's group/bracket. italy and france brought a bunch of literally whos that barely even play in their clubs. you'll see against morocco
