Philly is an old ass team, their farm system is barren, and their owner will only spend to an extent. This was the Phillies last shot with this current team. It's only downhill from now on and they will be in hard rebuild mode sometime in the next 3-4 years.

Phillies are losing Schwarber, Ranger Suarez, Realmuto, Duran, Alvarado, Strahm, Robertson, Kepler, and Bader. Harper looks dead. Turner can't field or stay healthy. Castellanos has no power in his swing left. The Marsh experiment should be over. Stott has not improved in 3 years. Nola's a joke. Luzardo is inconsistent. Taijuan Walker is Taijuan Walker. There's rumors Wheeler will retire. Bohm might legitimately be their best hitter going forward. The Phillies are fucking cooked and might not win 80 games next year.

>>151282327Frankly the team sucked since June and had no momentum going into the playoffs so I wasnt even really that disappointed that we missed the playoff since a first round exist in the wildcard round seemed inevitable. I had doubted the team's philosophy when it came to pitching for 2 years and I was proven right, the "pitching lab" fell apart and there wasnt enough talent to carry our rotation. We didnt have a playoff caliber rotation going into September. Last year we over performed and this year we under performed. Hopefully luck swings our way next year., we have a decent outlook As for you sad little phillies fan I hope you enjoyed another meaningless divisional title and playoff exit. Another post season disappointment. You will never win the chip with this core of players. Its all down hill from here
