Zoomers didn't play football like previous generations, frankly all sports except maybe soccer have seen a significant talent drop in America, how do you think basically the same 3 guys dominated the NBA until some guys from Serbia came around.
This generation of 20-somethings just didn't play sports like the kids who are in their 30s now.
