Hello, /sp/! Did you know all of Portugal has stopped for a very important event!? That is right, Benfica is having elections to decide who will be the next president of the club! This is a very important event that everybody on this board should pay attention to. They will happen on the 25th of October, but today is a day as good as any to talk about elections, I reckon.

The candidates are:

>Rui Costa: the former football legend and current President. His hold on the team is a bit shaky due to bad results and lack of trophies. Recently hired Mourinho in what is seen as an electoral move.
>Luis Filipe Vieira: the former president who had to leave because of some troubles with the justice. Running again for office because Portugal has a healthy tradition of voting back into office people who went to jail and because he has the support of many boomers who are afraid of a Vietnam 2.0
>Noronha Lopes: the most viable opposition candidate, seems to have the young vote. Apparently not a very good manager of companies, but this may be fake news
>João Diogo Manteigas: the youngest of candidates, and perhaps the biggest break with the status quo. Seems to have a good amount of support online
>Martim Mayer: grandson of a former Benfica president. Van Gaal went from Algarve to Lisbon to support him
>Cristovao Carvalho: swears he can get Jurgen Klopp to be Benfica's director of football. Possibly controlled opposition

So, who is /sp/ voting for? Keep in mind that, in Benfica, you get more votes the longer you have been an associate, so votes of the boomers are very important here.

Please watch our league and do not forget to watch your local team match tomorrow. Very important matches tomorrow.

For retards who know nothing about management and eat up the propaganda planted in José Eduardo Moniz's TV channel, maybe.

>Oy vey!
>You VILL NOT vote for the candidate who invested in a newly created start-up that has lost 2M because it is not profitable yet
>You VILL vote for the candidate who was arrested with a 500M debt to Novo Banco or the candidate who left Benfica with 400M in liabilities and bankrupted a restaurant in Saldanha

Yes, I should have mentioned this

I was going to vote for Noronha but after these news came out I decided to change my vote to João Diogo Manteigas. We Benfiquistas need to stay alert and avoid another Vale e Azevedo
