Surely they will have some collector value still? Also, do fans of moved teams usually stay loyal to the team? Or do they go dormant until their cities are graced with teams again by your billionaire overlords?

No. They either swear off the sport or say they do and still watch in the background because it's such a big part of their lives. Please note this only applies to handegg, other sports aren't big enough for you to actually get pressured into watching/following along. Nobody in Seattle even hatewatches the NBA.
