I think no one with more than two brain cells could think that a striker who at 23 couldn't earn a spot at Brighton, and at 25 was just an average forward in the Championship, was an elite striker.

Literally no one is shocked

The problem with the Portuguese League is that every team that isn’t either “the big 3” or Braga is literally a League 2 level shitter. Is it any wonder how a Championship level player like Gyokeres was able to rack up goals against *checks notes* Arouca and Tondela - infront of crowds of 3,000 people lol

I-I swear to God Froholdt is a true elite player, like Vitinha ;_;

because we still produce good players from time to time

Gyokeres will come good. He’s not world class, but he’ll come good.

cool story jamal

Havertz will be back in the no.9 spot as soon as he's back. Gyokeres will be a super sub from here on out. He's got a good shot on him but he rarely gets to take one because of how average his movement and ball control is

>shit touch
>for a big guy he gets outmuscled
>wrestles with defender when he should be clear and ready for a run
I mean, he can still come up good.

If you come to the premier league, will you die?

Called it. I always thought he should've gone to Utd cause it's a meme club atm and he's a meme striker, and with Amorim also, the whole playstyle would have been centered around him and he would've net 20+ a season while the fans would've consider him a legend. But he came to Arsenal to wear #14 lol

useless donkey, a perfect fit for that god awful stoke club

Go ahead, apply for a refund. See what happens.

I'm an Arsenal fan and I agree. I was worried after just a few games. He's physical and battles but that's about it, he just doesn't seem a threat and rarely even happens upon chances. He has 3 stat pad games coming up to build something in, think if he doesn't get at least 2 in these he will come under big pressure. Havertz is better than this.

He literally never gets any clear cut chances though. How often has he been in a one-on-one situation this season? I feel for the doode.
>>
>>151466624
I think it's more about arsenal and modern teams in general not knowing how to play with a goal focused striker, city took a bit to play to haalands strengths

English pundits think this guy is in the same tier as Haaland btw
