It has potential to be based and it has been (like 40-50 years ago though), but now it's the most soulless, corporate "sport" on earth.Everything is an ad, you get plastic movies and merch, influencers every race, girlfriend shots during critical moments, drivers caring more about Instagram than racing, and the worst, most boring racing you get from any motorsport, it's absolutely hopeless. And the fact that the entire fanbase is perfectly divided between turbonormies and complete autists doesn't help.
