just started watching baseball a few weeks ago, but is this guy the GOAT? never seen matches where one player is so influential.
Yeah he’s unironically the greatest player to ever live by a large margin. The way he can seemingly hit a home run at will is something I haven’t seen in my life.
>>151671702We already have a Maradona, and he lived off of Coca Cola and hot dogs
>>151671702>never seen matches where one player is so influentialwatch a basketball game
>>151671702he is career like 200 avg in playoffs with like 40% strikeout rate.
>matchesshut the fuck up nigger
>>151672195>>151671702>>151672227>>151672265Can you guys please recommended rob Paul of Celebheights to add Ohtani to the siteTell him here https://www.celebheights.com/s/General-Height-445.html
>>151673021Not clicking that glownigger
>>151671702Barry Bonds is the greatest player of all time. Ohtani being able to pitch too makes him more of a curiosity.
He's a degenerate GAMBLER
>>151671702still Bonds, sorry.
>>151672195imagine posting a take this terrible publicly.
>>151673344its like people dont remember that if you threw Barry a strike he'd hit it for a homerun for like 5+ years.
>never seen matches where one player is so influential. He's not even the best hitter of his generation, but he's the GOAT, yes, because he's able to pitch
He's definitely the best batter for LA , I was told he was also a great pitcher but they never put him on so I dont know. But just the fact that they walked this guy in the last game like every single time just shows he is their star player
>>151673318Buddy if you don’t know what Celebheights is you’re a newgen faggot>>151673344>>151673484Ohtani better.Rob Paul has more of listing Ohtani over Barry bonds on Celebheights >>151673623Yes
>>151673623He will pitch today
>>151671702He’s probably #1. Babe Ruth isn’t that far behind because he was an UNBELIEVABLY powerful hitter despite his inability to run or field. Nobody else even comes close to those two because they only play one side of the game. A faraway 3rd place would probably be guys like Ted Williams, Stan Musial, Josh Gibson, Honus Wagner and Ty Cobb who were multi-tooled athletes who were able to get on base extremely well. After that would be the consistent power hitters whose OBP and run-creation rates were a little bit lower, like Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron and Willie Mays. Then, you get the exciting, but inconsistent players like Mike Trout and Ken Griffey Jr.I would be hesitant to put any other pitcher near the top of the “greatest of all time” list since they encumber less demand than position players, but Gibson, Koufax, Pedro and Maddox in their primes were something special.
THEY NOT LIKE USH E Y N O T L I K E U S
>>151673344>Barry Bondssteroid
>>151673344Barry Bonds was the most feared hitter of all time for a 5-year period. When he roided, he consistently put up all-time figures in OPS. But there are guys who I would consider to be better baseball players, and there are guys who had a greater impact on his team’s success. Ohtani is one of those guys.
>>151674411Also, Ohtani is an outstanding player on an outstanding team. The Giants made a single World Series appearance with Bonds and lost.
>>151674201>implying
>>151671702yeah, he literally lost a world series game on his own by giving up 4 runs and going 0-4 at the plate
>>151683841But he's able to start as many games as he wants. He's a beast.
