Best XI of our generationVan Dijk over Puyol is the only change I'd make in hindsight.
>>151672546>our generationspeak for yourself zoomer
Puyol is better than van dijk imo but that might just be nostalgia from being to young to recognize the flaws of his game
>>151672546>UNC XI
van dijk is the biggest fraud of his generationif he wont win a challenge he just does nothing
>>151672574lol you said the thing
>>151672581m8, ik the memes about him backing off and aura defending but lets be objective now. prime van dijk was untouchable
>busquets
Name one aspect of the game where Lahm is world class. It's insane how this average manlet shitter managed to be considered as god tier only because he played for Bayern during a time when good RBs were so fucking rare a complete bum like Sagna was considered decent.
>>151672546what the fuck where are the players from biggest strongest hardest league english premier league?
>>151672787Brother, Lahm revolutionalised the RB position being the pioneer of the Inverted Fullback.
>>151672546>Lewandowski>not Suarez, or even Nerman on the right with Pendu in the middle>Busquets>not Modric>Puyol>this generation>Lahm>anywhere in this team
>>151673202>Nerman on the righton the left*
>>151672546This team would get bodied by 2025 Arsenal ngl
bruh bruh bruh my GOAT naaaah lmao
>>151672787>Name one aspect of the game where Lahm is world classCrossingDirecting play Making brownoids seethe
>>151673202>Brazilian bias for Dani Alves the criminal
>>151672546the most overrated midfield evera walking skeleton and two manlets, diving sideways passing boring doping cheating rigging faggots
>noyerlmfao
>>151674367Never mentioned xer? Maicon was a far better rightback also, but I think he is a little older to count here
>>151674536If you're saying Maicon is better than Lahm, just say you never watched Prime Bayern Munich.Cafu is the only RB I'd say was better. But Cafu was the previous generation.
>>151672546Put tsu in the middle and neymar in wing. Replace Marcelo with dani alves and xavi with modric
>>151675033>Put tsu in the middle and neymar in wing.I could agree with this>Replace Marcelo with dani alvesAlves is a RB and Marcelo deserves a spot >xavi with modricBallon D'or hype, Xavi is a better footballer
Ronaldo - Suarez - MessiXavi - Busquets - IniestaLahm - Chiellini - Ramos - Dani AlvesNeuerVan Dijk is more of a 2020s player than a 2010s one
>>1516768922020s so farMbappe - Haaland - SalahDe Bruyne - Rodri - PedriNuno Mendes - Van Dijk - Ruben Dias - HakimiCourtois
>>151676950>Ruben DiasSaliba is much better, Dias isn't that good, Pep's system carries him.>PedriWay too early for him to make the XI
>>151677608go back to your containment thread >>>/arse/
>>151672546>LewanFRAUDskiKek
>>151677656I dont support Arsenal, I literally said in the OP that Van Dijk is the only Prem player that could make my XI
>>151677756ur nation's greatest player
>>151676892Go back to reading talmud, benjamin
>>151672546Kroos for Xavi, Kante for Busquets.
>>151687353>Kroos for Xaviflag checks out>Kante for Busquetsi'd put kante in a PL XI but i think busquets is superior
>>151672546>lewandowski>lahm>marcelo>ramos>neuer
>>151688234Just to let you know the quality of the Prem in the early 2000s was quite low, Terry/Ferdinand/Cole cannot be compared to Ramos and Marcelo.
>>151688305cole consistently shut down ronaldo while he was at his peak for instance. marcelo couldn't even be trusted by mourinho to play difficult opponents in the CL, he was consistently a defensive weakpoint despite being arguably more dangerous than the vast majority of out and out left wingers of his generation.ramos was clutch, but overrated. take away his decisive headers and people would mostly remember his big game blunders. I still maintain that terry is among the best CBs in the history of the sport. you'd have to go back to prime nesta and maldini days to find someone his level.
>>151688305also, CL finalists in the 2000s:italy: 5spain: 4germany: 3france: 1portugal: 1england: 6claiming the EPL was weak during this era is a bit disingenuous. especially after 2004 when chelsea became a contender.
>>151688435>claiming the EPL was weak during this era is a bit disingenuous. especially after 2004 when chelsea became a contender.Because I was watching it back then. I'm not saying it was poor, but Serie A had its time and then it passed the torch to La Liga which was then followed by the rise of the PL which has become the greatest league in the world where teams like Bournemouth and Brentford could most likely beat a variety of continental european giants. This was not the case 10 years ago.
>>151688557I can't speak for truly early 2000s, but I've been an avid follower since mourinho started coaching chelsea, and even before that I'd watch an united match now and then. I don't think there's any point in this past century were the PL wasn't at least a top 3 league. yeah for a while you had total spanish + bayern domination in the early 2010s, and I guess serie A was objectively stronger for the turn of the century before half the league went bankrupt, but idk why that diminishes the achievements someone like terry and cole have accrued.
Swap Xavi for Bale and I think it's solid.
>>151672546I cant be the only one thinking prime kante, yaya toure, makelele would own this midfield
Neymar for CristianoCristiano for LewaDani "not guilty on appeal" Alves for lahmMarcelo my nigga? marcelo?>>151676950Yuck, what a downgrade
