I don't understand how past a certain age people ever lose control of their emotions. Personally even when I am fuming on the inside, I am still fully aware that it's not a good thing and acting on those emotions will have consequences that will come later. If I don't care about the consequences I might choose to act on them willingly but it's never a "I lost myself to pashiun lol" like a toodler.So for me these apologies just seem fake and planned like "I'll use this opportunity to vent and act like a chimp and apologize afterwards to face no consequences".
