Why do Bayern Munich LARP as le poor financial underdogs compared to Premier League teams when they pay higher wages than pretty much every club in the PL. Their wage bill is only £5k behind Man City (highest PL wage bill) and that's only if you include youth players that realistically aren't getting any first team minutes. Clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd all have a wage bill of £3m/w in comparison.

If they wanted to, they could easily have compensated Stuttgart with a fair fee for Woltemade. But instead they'd rather resort to dirty tactics like getting players to run down their contracts and leave on a free so that their competition doesn't get any money. German football fans honestly don't give Bayern Munich enough shit for this, instead they take their side and say that English football is ruining their country when it's a problem entirely manufactured by Bayern Munich.

germans are very happy with bayern munich
they see them as the german "national team" and support them in all comps.

the allianz group who owns bayern is wealthier than any premier league club owner btw

No not really (unless they didnt make other signings)
Bayern cannot have losses in the hundreds of millions unlike prem teams since it's fan owned majoritarely.

Bayern are backed by the largest insurance company in the world. Leverkusen are backed by one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Wolfsburg are backed by the largest car manufacturer in the world. Leipzig are backed by the largest energy drink seller in the world.
