How does soccer/association football fan segregation work? Are the away fans allowed to go out and stimulate the local economy after the game? Or are they required to board a train and travel some distance before they can return to the city?
>>151762382They are all poor and can't stimulate each others economies
>>151762382Usually they coordinate with local police to go to the train station and take an express train home. They basically have to keep them segregated because Yuros can't see that they're just customers and think they're in some super duper club instead of being called season ticket holders
Most places will have one or two designated away fans pubs. The only times you get complete police escort in and out is for derby games where there is a chance of everything kicking off.
>>151762834God I love you psychos. I really respect how crazy you go for your sports, even if I can't watch them.
>>151762844I was actually trying to dispel that lol. The vast majority of the time fans mix with no trouble.
>>151762898We don't have to separate bars for away teams anon. Well, maybe the two Alabama college football teams. They have and will continue to kill each other.
>>151762382Imagine a game so boring that it causes fans to chimpout.
>>151762923I saw a Bama fan get stabbed at the Auburn train station after the Iron Bowl. It wasn't a major wound but still more blood than I expected. The platform was so crowded people just walked through it and left bloody shoeprints everywhere lol
>>151763007That's fucking sick though
>>151762923tbf its not like away fans would be told to leave if they went into other pubs or vice versa its just kinda an honour system. When I say designated as well its not an official thing its just everyone knows "this is where the away fans go".
>>151763108Theres loads of pubs that have a sign saying home fans only
amerilard sports fans say "GG" to their archrivals right after losing to them
It depends on the match but yes there are games were the away fans are only allowed to join with a combi ticket that means gathering at your home stadium getting on a a bus/train to be escorted into the away section and escorted out back to home.
>>151766408This seems insane from the perspective of an american who doesn't view most pairs of rival cities as distinct places, especially those in a country smaller than several U.S. states.
>>151766625well yeah because you move teams
>>151766644The funniest example is the Los Angeles Lakers, originally from Minnesota. The whole of LA county has fewer lakes than my one suburb
>>151763007Absolutely based
>>151766721WHAT WHAT WHAT?
>>151766625It is insane I like to imagine the same scenario in another sport like chess or badminton to really get a scope of how absurd it is. The sections look better now with the plexi glass but in the older days it was all covered in barb wire like a literal warzone.
Sometimes even trying to seperate them wont work, they just find other ways
>>151762382It's worth pointing out segregation mostly only applies to organized fans (who are those who make tifos and start chants). Your average away fan can easily show up without his club's kit and roam around without anyone knowing a thing. There are exceptions for derbies or organized fans rivalries (there's tons of them) that can get violent. In those cases they sometimes outright ban away fans or escort them.
>>151766775Or who doesn't know the birthplace of Jazz, Utah!
>>151763007>stimulate local economy by creating job in law enforcement
>>151766812SOVL
>>151763007Somebody threw part of a drum set at a riot police officer? Where's the full video and where was this?
>>151767025Sorry I’m too low iq to know such information
>>151768880Jazz is New Orleans. Utah is Mormons, and they play small novelty guitars called utahleles.
>>151762834>>151762898these.going to away games can be fun, but if your team gets battered and you have to walk through a sea of home fans after the end of the game, you want the ground to swallow you up. nothing violent is likely to happen however unless its a derby.
>>151762382>women's sportsWho cares?
>>151772316??
>>151766126>Americans aren't sore losers>this is bad somehowThird world range banning when?
>>151773333are you a burger? i've seen several yuros finding that strange as wellit's not a third world problem it's an american sports culture being lame problem
