Do pitchers even enjoy their position? Seems boring since all you do is throw the ball and you don't get to hit.
>>151795845I mean a plumber probably doesn't enjoy his job that much either, but it pays well.
>>151795845It's for autismos like me who enjoy the solitude a mound provides. It also feels empowering that you're defense attacking the offense. What other sport gives that sense besides cricket?
If it meant plowing Livvy Dunne at the end of the day then yeah I’d enjoy it.
>>151795845I haven't experienced the highs of making someone look like a complete retard to the suicidal lows of someone hammering a bomb because they correctly predicted what was coming next since.
>>151795950>What other sport gives that sense besides cricket?probably hockey goalie.
>>151795845Its the position with most action . Every possible play starts with you . Your are only proactive force on the field .
>>151796036that doesn't answer the question on whether it's fun or not.
>>151795845>you don't get to hit.Do you know who Shohei Ohtani is?
>>151795845That's like asking a mountain climber if climbing is fun.
they get their fun by striking out batters
i think its for cocky people who like (atleast mentally) talking shit to every batter that comes up as they have to beat them all every single time or they suck
The only thing I know about Baseball comes from that Futurama episode, and it sure looks fun as hell to play.
standing out in CF with a good pitcher is less fun
>>151804458I wondered why for an entirely different sport they would mention Hank Aaron. Then Manfred and his rule changes started and I realized it was actually ""baseball"" all along after further trying to appeal to 3 year olds and cats
They can bat if they want though its not like they are not allowed
>>151795845>all you do is throw the ball and you don't get to hit.The designated hitter rule needs to die.
