The group games in the new champions league format feel like preseason friendlies. I cant get myself to watch them. It feels much more soulless than the old group format.

This new format is so shit. I don't remember any "group stage" matches from last season but still remember some from the previous years when they used the old format. I haven't bothered to watch any of the first phase matches this season, i'll just wait till knockouts.
