What spirtually raped you into being a sports fan?

That's definitely not the field inside the stadium
>>
>>151827887
that is surprisingly/shockingly common behaviour
i remember that fucking >schalke operates some small private graveyard because they get so many requests of people wanting to be buried on the field
>>
>>151827887
This only feels wrong because it's an american franchise and they only have customers not fans.
This is like scattering your mother's ashes at Apple HQ because she liked their products.
>>
>>151830821
well if ghosts are real it's like getting an eternal season ticket
better than being inside an urn

my high school buddy's dad is a blue blood rich as fuck Englishman who thinks sports are asinine but he writes books Nd acts in local plays and shit. i'm fine with people like that. he has absolutely zero problem with his son being a massive sports fan. the people that post shit like OP are always into things incredibly gay and even more pointless than sports. oh you volunteer at a soup kitchen at nights and weekends? oh no you watch anime and groom kids on roblox
>>
>>151827887
not a fan of soi right twitter users acting like they're better than anyone else
you know these guys are watching anime as well
>>
>>151830821
No wonder they are cursed at >Schalke
>>
>>151831200
this is very normal behavior and will not be mocked or made fun of. those men are my heroes and the field is sacred.

based actually. I want to be buried 6 feet below Ford Field so I can haunt the faggots on the other team

Yes, this is definitive American culture.

When Mum went into care, severe depression hit, struggled keeping a job, started getting bad anxiety, I ended up focusing more on the football. Sports is a nice escape from important stuff, plenty of silly banter and games give something to look forward to during the week. It also helps that it's easy to get into, I used to play a lot more videogames but eventually just lost the urge to boot anything up.

>sports community is friendly and welcoming, most that are into it develop into society fairly well
>nerd community is bitter 24/7, develop non-existent scapegoats to get mad at, and some even believe the shit they're being gaslit on
I wonder why is that

I take it you don't follow the Premier League? If so good on you. In the NFL, NBA, German Bundesliga, etc, you can't have foreign ownership of your teams, it's prohibited. England? They just bent over and now all their clubs are owned by other countries.

I took it pretty seriously as a teenager but now it's just an entertaining diversion to me. The empty grounds of covidball killed any illusion that this really means anything beyond entertainment and money.

You didn't understand what he was saying at all. The clubs never physically leave a community unlike in America.
>>
>>151840873
how often does this happen though, especially for decent teams? sure there are some shit soulless franchises but does anyone really believe Red Sox would ever move from Boston or Yankees will move from NY? i think at this point in time most teams are safe from that and strongly locally established.
>>
>>151841098
let me tell you about the ny giants and brooklyn dodgers...

yeah but that was over half a century ago wasn't it
>>
>>151827887
If it's artificial turf, what happens to the ashes after that? Do they inevitably get vacuumed up and the dust bag dropped into a dumpster?
>>
>>151829494
yes, european fans are more interested in the players having sex with their wives.
>>
>>151841586
yes. just like when they push you out to sea in a burning boat, you just char and a crab makes a house out of your skull
>>
>>151841626
Is the crab comfy? Can he get out if he outgrows it?
>>

you need a loiscense to dump a lit of ashes on the pitch now. everyone knows this.
