Asked AI to do preview in the style of Axelgaard.

>Thibau Nys is the brightest comet in the constellation. His accelerations arrive like lightning and thunder, impossible to ignore, shaking the race into chaos.

>Eli Iserbyt is less a comet, more a steady star. He does not flash across the heavens, but his light endures, guiding him through attrition and mistakes.

In his podcast Lang Distance, Mads Pedersen criticizes cyclists who choose to accept significant amounts of money to race around the world without the slightest sporting value.

- It's so terrible to watch. None of the riders even try to make it look like they're racing, says Mads Pedersen.

One of the cycling races that falls under the category of show races is the Saitama Criterium, which Jonas Vingegaard 'won' recently. It's called a show race because the outcome is agreed upon in advance, and many of the riders who start are paid for it.

Mads Pedersen's criticism of Jonas Vingegaard and the other stars who fake a cycling race for a fee was answered in Ekstra Bladet.

- It's clear that it's probably not the toughest cycling race over there. But there is still a lot of racing going on, and it's not always easy, says Jonas Vingegaard, explaining that he chose to participate in the show race because it was an opportunity for a family vacation.

>>
>>152169892
>Crystal meth is available for retail purchase and use in every country of eastern and southern Africa and is being manufactured in these regions in rapidly increasing volumes for both domestic consumption and for transit into international supply chains. Today, meth is an illicit substance used in a growing number of African communities. In many places, it has displaced cannabis, the traditional standard-bearer for African drug markets, as well as heroin and cocaine.

>Faced with this financial hemorrhage, the main shareholder injected €10 million between November 2024 and December 2025. Earlier in the year, in June, Campagnolo had already secured €8.5 million in financing from Cherry Bank, intended in particular to support the launch of its new 13-speed groupset. But these financial efforts are clearly insufficient to guarantee the company's long-term viability in its current form.
>In a somber statement, management asserts that there is no alternative to this plan and warns of dramatic consequences for the company and the city of Vicenza if the measures are not implemented. The company emphasized that the 40% reduction in labor costs would allow for continued operations at the Vicenza site, albeit on a reduced scale. The industrial plan that underpins these layoffs was approved by the board of directors on November 21, 2025.
>The irony of the situation is clear to everyone: these announcements come just months after the launch of the Super Record 13 groupset, one of the most innovative products ever developed by Campagnolo. This 13-speed drivetrain was meant to mark the brand's technological renewal and reignite market interest. But the unfavorable economic climate has dashed those hopes.

>>
>>152170084
they went the wrong way with super fancy top of the range groupsets. the market is so small for that product and most of the potential buyers will just buy DA di2 anyway. they should have gone with cheap mass produced groupset and tried to get deals done to supply fully built bikes with these groupsets. how many bikes come with campy? barely any.

>“I’ve always said I wanted to do something with numbers – probably something with banking. I have always been good with numbers," Jonas Vingegaard said in a new interview to TV MIDTVEST.
>Before the bicycle career took off, Jonas Vingegaard went to the business high school in Thisted, where it was also very much numbers and economics that characterized everyday life.
>- But as I grew up and got my own house, I have realized that I like craftsmanship more than I actually thought, says Jonas Vingegaard.
>Do you want to be a tradesman when your cycling career ends?
>- It could easily be. Time will tell. I am very fascinated by carpentry.

It's a stimulant. It's not that long ago that amphetamines used to be available in pharmacies, first without prescription and then with prescription you could easily get. And if you fake some ADHD symptoms even today.
>>
>>152170061
>>152170084
>>152170123
It's all their own fault. It's impossible to support the R&D effort required to operate a groupset manufacturer with just top end parts. They needed 105 and Ultegra level groupsets with electronics ages ago. And they needed to make Ekar electronic. And finally they needed big OEM contracts.

They engineered everything without thinking about costs and then couldn't make cheaper electronic groupsets. When the others engineered a cheap mass market groupset that could then be lightened for DA/Red level.

It induces strong euphoria and will make you feel like you're performing better, even if you aren't. Nazis already knew this, but many dope fiends still fall for it today.
Regardless, some studies seem to suggest there's some actual improvement, even if it's not too much, it could still make all the difference between winning and losing.
Also, caffeine has somewhat similar effects and seems to be widely used, probably not entirely without reason.

>The international company Emesports, founded in 2013 by former professional cyclist Ezequiel Mosquera, will organize the next edition of the Volta ao Algarve cycling race, the Portuguese Cycling Federation (FPC) announced today.
>The new "strategic partnership" between the federation and Emesports, for the organization of the Volta ao Algarve, the Volta ao Alentejo and the Volta a Portugal next year, was announced this Thursday at a press conference.
>This decision represents "the evolution of the transitional model" announced by the FPC a week ago, following the early termination of the contract with Podium Events, citing repeated breaches of its financial obligations.
>The agreement now established is valid for the 2026 season, with the possibility of extension.

I hope this is some kind of sick joke. Bibs need to be washed after every use. Although, this boomer I work with says he never washes his bibs and just takes them off and leaves them in the garage. The thought of putting on a chamois that has been stewing after a ride is abhorrent to me.

Good stage. Built for DENZ.

I find it harder to predict what mountain stages will be good these days. There was som great racing (IMO) in the mountains this past Giro. Will the "easier" stages be better? Yates took the lead on Stage 20, hard to beat that.

Easy climb, this one ends in a sprint

Finally a Ca' del Poggio that makes the difference

People expected more from this one, very Vuelta style stage, was probably influenced by the requests of the Swiss

Doesn't regret interview: - No problem

Jonas Vingegaard can easily live with an interview with his wife creating a stir around him in a big race - as long as it doesn't affect the team's internal chemistry

The agenda for this year's Tour de France was largely set by Vingegaard. At the beginning of the race, however, not so much Jonas as his wife Trine.

Because in an interview with Politiken, she expressed that her husband did not get the necessary support to become the best version of himself.

He does not need to be in training camp isolated on a mountaintop all the time - he just as much needs to recharge his batteries at home in the lap of his family and gain new energy by being with Trine and the children.

Big fuss
The interview suddenly made Jonas Vingegaard the most sought-after rider in the Tour - also to a greater extent than he is used to, after all.

All journalists wanted to hear his explanation, and it created a lot of fuss for Vingegaard, who in those days had enough to do in terms of sports to keep up with Tadej Pogacar.

Still, he doesn't regret that the interview was published.

- It wasn't the best time. But I'm good at putting things on the shelf and not thinking too much about them.

- As long as I know that it's not something that affects us internally on the team, I can put it on the shelf, and that's no problem for me at all, Jonas Vingegaard explains to Ekstra Bladet.

I'm fairly sure he said the same thing in actual summer, not sure why Ekstrabladet is still asking him questions about it like half a year later. Also Trine was completely right as it turned out.
